By accessing and using Lawgrafter ("the Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Lawgrafter is a cloud-based legal technology platform that provides:

• File Summary Generator: AI-powered generation of case summaries in English and Hindi
• Annexure Index Generator: Automated creation of court-style annexure tables
• Ruling Cases Finder: AI-powered case law search and discovery tool
• Client Management: Digital client tracking and management system
• Calendar Features: Case scheduling and deadline management tools

3. Eligibility

To use Lawgrafter, you must:

• Be a legal professional (advocate, lawyer, or legal practitioner)
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. Account Registration and Security

When creating an account:

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

5.1 Base Plan Requirement

A base subscription plan is required to use the Lawgrafter platform. Without an active subscription, you will not have access to the platform's features.

5.2 Credit System

• Our platform operates on a credit-based system
• Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered tools
• Credits are valid only for the current subscription period
• Credits do NOT roll over to the next billing cycle
• Unused credits expire at the end of each subscription period

5.3 Subscription Validity

• Subscriptions are valid for the period specified at the time of purchase
• After the validity period expires, your account will be reset
• All credits will be reset to 0 after plan expiry
• You must renew your subscription to continue using the platform

5.4 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated
• Payment must be completed before accessing premium features
• We reserve the right to change pricing with prior notice

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

NO REFUNDS: We do not provide any type of refunds after purchase. All sales are final. Please review your subscription plan carefully before making a purchase.

• No refunds will be issued for unused credits
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• No refunds if you choose to cancel your subscription
• No refunds for technical issues or dissatisfaction with the service

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute our services without permission
• Use automated systems to scrape or extract data
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of Lawgrafter are owned by us and are protected by:

• Copyright laws
• Trademark laws
• Patent laws
• Other intellectual property rights

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. User-Generated Content

Regarding content you upload or create on the platform:

• You retain ownership of your case files and documents
• You grant us a license to process and store your content to provide services
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content
• We may remove content that violates these terms

10. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Always verify AI-generated content before use
• We are not responsible for any consequences of using AI-generated content
• You assume full responsibility for reviewing and verifying all outputs

11. Data Privacy and Security

We are committed to protecting your data:

• Data is secured using JWT authentication
• All sensitive information is encrypted
• We comply with applicable data protection laws

12. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide uninterrupted service, but:

• We do not guarantee 100% uptime
• Services may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance
• We may modify or discontinue features with notice
• We are not liable for service interruptions

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months

15. Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India.
